We at Hudson River School District take great pride in being an A-rated school district and one of the fastest growing in New Jersey. There is a reason for that.

With more than 5,000 students attending Hudson River School District, our strength is our neighborhood schools. Each school offers every child a full array of learning opportunities, from Honors classes, Gifted and Talented, Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment to Robotics, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and enhanced enrichment courses.

The Hudson River School District is also recognized for continually exceeding the state average, even garnering international acclaim. Our state assessment scores and graduation rate routinely exceed the state average and our students are high achievers, recognized for performing in the top percentile in Advanced Placement (AP) courses and ACT scores. This has led to HRSD being ranked in the top tier of highest performing school districts in New Jersey and the Department of Education awarding an overall letter grade of an ‘A.’
